Bellver Castle

Gothic-style castle from the 14th century with a circular floor unique in Spain. Sitting on top of a hill on the outskirts of the city of Palma, this fort offers incredible views over the bay. On the ground floor is the museum of the history of the city in which the way the evolution of the city is explained. Also on display is Cardinal Despuig’s collection of statues.

Palau de l’Almudaina – Museum of National Heritage

The museum occupies a site that has been used by the different cultures that have populated the islands throughout the centuries and under its foundations traces from all eras have been found. Today, this palace is used by the King of Spain for official receptions when meeting on the island.

Es Baluard

The most recently opened museum in Mallorca. Located in an exceptional spot, Palma’s maritime front, the Es Baluard museum of modern and contemporary art exhibits an interesting collection of Mediterranean artists.

March de Palma Museum

Museum located on the central street of Sant Miquel which displays an interesting collection of works of Spanish art, including Picasso, Miro, Dali etc. It is one of the few museums in Mallorca that offers free entry.

Diocesan Museum of Majorca

The Diocesan Museum of Majorca exhibits 200 works of religious art, organised chronologically, from the first manifestations of Christianity on the island up to the 20th Century. By visiting the museum you can also visit the interior of the Episcopal Palace.
